- Wesley W. Schulz, age78, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at his home. Wesley was born in Manchester on November 28, 1931 the son of Ben and Frances (Quade) Schulz. He graduated in the class of 1949 at Markesan High School. On January 15, 1953 he married Donna Mae Suehring at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Wesley loved bowling, gambling, taking photographs of anything he liked and traveling to Shawano. He took much pride in his lawn but most of all he loved his family dearly and loved participating in their activities. He was also an avid sports fan.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Donna; his 4 children, Brenda (Special Friend Fawzy Swielam) Mueller, Belinda (Michael) Fox, Brian (Special Friend Jennifer Krueger) and Bruce (Lorretta); his 18 grandchildren, Darren (Kristi), Dan(Lori), Nathan (Mandy), Katherine, Meridith and Natalie Mueller, Rachel (Mike) Libby, Leah (Chad) Ehle, Bethany (Dan) Dzuiba, Sarah Swielam, Tarah, Taylor, Ethan, Lucas, Mariah and Mercedes Schulz, Michaela and Morgan Fox; a sister, Mary Lou Muelenhaupt; a brother, John (Verla) Schulz; a brother-in-law, Del (Brenda) Suehring; a step-sister, Donna (Arvin) Kahl; 9 great-grandchildren; and special family friends, Cathy (Dennis) Krueger and David (Linda) Mueller. He is further survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Zachary Schulz and a brother-in-law Guenther Muelenhaupt.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manchester with Pastor Michael Plagenz officiating. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Wachholz Family Funeral Home in Markesan from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be held at Lake Maria Cemetery.
