- Iva E. Laper, age 93, passed away on February 18, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on August 18, 1916 in the township of Springvale, Fond du Lac Co; the daughter of Carolina (Duehring) and William Jaeger. She married Ralph Laper on April 6, 1942 at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater. She took part in many church activities including: Financial secretary of Zion, Christian Women, Lutheran Fellowship, and Wedding Reception Hostess. She was also Chairman of Farm Bureau of the Town of Green Lake. In her spare time she loved to quilt and all of the grandchildren received some of her works.
Iva is survived by 3 sons, Don (Polly) Laper, Cary Laper, and Wayne Laper; 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Services will be held at 11AM, Monday, February 22, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairwater with Pastor Scott Ehle officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Monday from 9AM until the time of service. Burial will be to following at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
